Three simple helpers for when a word is on the tip of your tongue: unscramble a jumble of letters, find every anagram of a word, or list words that contain certain letters. They are handy for board word games, word games with friends and newspaper puzzles.
Each tool uses the same list of everyday English words as our word games, shows results as you type, and lets you tap a word to copy it.

Fair play with our daily puzzles
The daily puzzles on GamesBento are the same for everyone, so the tools won’t help with them. Answers to the current daily Word Guess, Word Scramble, Hangman, Word Ladder and Word Search puzzles, and the nine-letter Word Wheel word, are left out of every list, and the letters of today’s Word Wheel are not searched at all. Once a day has passed, its words come back.
Questions people ask
Which word tool should I use?
Use the anagram solver when every letter must be used, the word unscrambler when you want all the words you can make from some letters, and words with letters when you know a few letters of a word and want to see what fits, for example 5 letter words with an A and an R.
Can I use a blank tile?
Yes. Type a question mark (?) for a blank. Each tool allows up to two.
Where do the words come from?
From the list of everyday English words of three to nine letters that the word games on GamesBento use. It leaves out rude words, names and abbreviations.
Why won’t the tools help with GamesBento’s daily puzzles?
Because the daily puzzles are the same for everyone and it would spoil them. Answers to the current daily word puzzles are left out of every list, and the letters of today’s Word Wheel are not searched at all.
Are the word tools free?
Yes. They are free, with no download and no sign-up, and they work on a phone, tablet or computer.
